Welcome to the Asia Pacific Osteoporosis & Fragility Fracture Society (APOFFS)
The Asia Pacific Osteoporosis and Fragility Fracture Society (APOFFS) was established in August 2021 as a dedicated section within the Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Association (APOA). As a specialized society, APOFFS is committed to promoting awareness, education, and research on osteoporosis and fragility fractures among orthopaedic professionals and healthcare practitioners throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
The society aims to provide a structured platform for knowledge sharing, professional collaboration, and the dissemination of best practices in the prevention, diagnosis, and management of osteoporosis and related fragility fractures. By fostering a multidisciplinary approach, APOFFS seeks to bridge gaps in clinical practice, support evidence-based patient care, and ultimately reduce the burden of osteoporotic fractures in the region.
Through its initiatives, including educational programs, scientific meetings, and collaborative research, APOFFS continues to strengthen the capacity of APOA members to address the growing challenges posed by osteoporosis and fragility fractures, ensuring better patient outcomes and advancing musculoskeletal health across the Asia-Pacific.
