The APPOS is pleased to announce that applications for the 2023 travelling fellowship is now open for Orthopaedic Surgeons from the Asia-Pacific region
This year’s fellowship will be hosted by Thailand POS and Malaysian POS and runs from Malaysia to Singapore APPOS 2023 meeting.
The Travelling Fellowship was established in 2015 to provide the opportunity for younger members of the orthopaedic community with a substantive interest in paediatric orthopaedics to expand their knowledge and develop links with colleagues in a country other than their own.
Two or three fellows will be selected to spend a week travelling to substantive centres in Thailand and Malaysia during which you will be exposed to a wide range of paediatric orthopaedic practice, share experiences and present your research. The fellowship is completed by attending the APPOS 2023. meeting in Singapore.
APPOS will provide US$1,000 in addition to the cost of airfare in economy class. Accommodations and other expenses in each country will be covered by the host country's pediatric orthopedic society or hospital, and the participation fee for APPOS 2023 will be waived.
Friendships that develop during such fellowships will enrich your practice and provide long lasting links into the APPOS community.
