This is the basic primer on hip replacement that is deemed suitable for the training of young hip surgeons. It is designed to encourage acquisition of knowledge by inquisitive thinking and assessment of known knowledge. 

We believe that surgeons need to be able to learn dynamically and not just didactically. In this series of discussions world class surgeons from the Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Association will guide novices and seasoned surgeons through their own thoughts to stimulate a thinking environment. Where possible students will be encouraged to present their own opinions and experiences in order to sustain a true learning environment.
