      We are delighted to welcome you to the Asia Pacific Hand & Upper Limb Society (APH&ULS), a dynamic and forward-looking not-for-profit professional and scientific organisation under the Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Association.

      Founded on 31 May 2020, APH&ULS was established with a clear vision to advance education and foster meaningful collaboration in the field of hand and upper limb surgery. As a growing community of dedicated professionals, the Society brings together expertise from across the region, creating opportunities to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and elevate standards of care.

      At the heart of APH&ULS is a strong commitment to partnership. By working closely with established Hand, Elbow, and Shoulder societies, we aim to build bridges across disciplines and borders, encouraging innovation and continuous learning.

      Whether you are a clinician, researcher, or educator, we invite you to be part of this vibrant network where collaboration inspires progress, and together, we shape the future of upper limb care in the Asia Pacific region.


  • APH&ULS Objectives

      • To advance the science, art and practice of Hand, Elbow and Shoulder Joint surgery in the Asia Pacific Region

      • To promote professional education, research, and other common interest in Hand & Upper Limb surgery.

      • To share knowledge of and solutions to medical problems.

      • To assist countries of the Region in all matters relating to Hand & Upper Limb (Hand, Elbow and Shoulder) surgery.

      • To promote fellowship and understanding between Hand & Upper Limb (Hand, Elbow and Shoulder ) surgeons within the Asia Pacific Region.

      • To cooperate with global, international, national and regional Hand, Elbow and Shoulder Surgery associations, societies and specialty groups which, in the opinion of such groups, have objectives similar to the Objectives of the Society.

      • To promote, encourage and assist in the education and training of Hand & Upper Limb (Hand, Elbow and Shoulder) surgeons in the Region, particularly in those countries with Chapters or Federation membership.
